Strategic Alliances Manager for Automotive Embedded Software

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Alliances Manager to join our team at BlackBerry QNX. As a key member of our Product & Strategy team, you will be responsible for recruiting, building, and maintaining a robust automotive ecosystem that strengthens and complements the BlackBerry QNX value proposition.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit key automotive ecosystem partners to help drive business capture and growth.
- Actively grow and manage key strategic ecosystem partner relationships to ensure alignment with our roadmap and customer program opportunities.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to drive joint go-to-market initiatives and PR across the ecosystem to amplify BlackBerry QNX key messaging.
- Continuously analyze emerging market and technology trends to identify technology gaps in the BlackBerry QNX product portfolio and recruit best-in-class technology suppliers to augment the ecosystem.
- Negotiate complex software licensing agreements to support BlackBerry QNX overall go-to-market requirements.
- Actively engage with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Sales, Finance, and other groups to manage the BlackBerry QNX ecosystem and participate in cross-functional initiatives as required.
- Significant proven experience in product management, technical marketing, or strategic alliances roles.
- Recent automotive embedded software experience.
- Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, ability to navigate complex situations and manage conflict resolution with ecosystem partners.
- Experience negotiating legal agreements.
- Proven track record of forging and managing key relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
- Proven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talent.
- Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation are required.
- Ability to manage accounts at all levels of the organization.
