About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Baptist Housing in Victoria. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver comprehensive care planning and evaluations.

With a focus on medication administration, assessments, and wellness programs, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Your ability to connect with residents on a personal level, combined with your exceptional communication skills, will enable you to convey instructions clearly and maintain a sense of calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, including medication administration and assessments
  • Collaborate with RNs to deliver comprehensive care planning and evaluations
  • Implement wellness programs and foster a positive environment for residents and team members
  • Maintain accurate resident charting and information using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized, post-secondary institution
  • Member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Food Safe Certificate
