Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team as a Nurse Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and providing leadership to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Advocate for patient needs and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide outstanding treatment and care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing attendants, healthcare aides, and practical nursing students.
- Manage nursing schedules to ensure continuity of care, call-ins, and vacation requests.
- Valid LPN license from the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC).
- Graduation from a Registered LPN Program.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Medical certificate confirming physical, mental, and emotional suitability for the position.
- TB Test clearance.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with physical and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a 10-hour shift schedule. Weekends may be required as needed. We offer a competitive benefits package, including extended health care and vision care.
