About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our team at Cascades. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues in industrial settings
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and other equipment
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and evaluation of new systems to ensure they meet company and industry standards
- Execute preventative maintenance activities to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with a valid 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification
- Experience with electrical distribution, including low and medium voltage systems
- Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code or Canadian Electrical Code
- Ability to effectively use standard electrical test equipment
