About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician to join our team at Cascades' Mississauga facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment in a timely manner
- Assist in the inspection, testing and evaluation of new systems to ensure they meet company standards
- Execute preventative maintenance activities, including repairs and troubleshooting of production equipment and systems
- Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment
- Valid 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification (or 309A Construction and Maintenance Certificate of Qualification with relevant experience)
- Certificate of Apprenticeship or post-secondary education in electrical/electronics considered an asset
- Familiarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code or Canadian Electrical Code required
- Experience with electrical distribution systems, Motor Control Centres and building lighting maintenance preferred
