Healthcare Leader for Primary Care Services

The Manager, Primary Health Care, is a key leader in Saskatchewan healthcare, partnering with system leaders to achieve the province's healthcare goals. Reporting to the Director of Primary Health Care, the Manager creates operational lines of sight that connect to the goals and objectives of the SHA.
Key Responsibilities
This leadership role involves developing and executing operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction. The Manager demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you must have experience in leadership and at least 5 years of experience in healthcare organization and community health service. A Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin), Health Care Administration diploma, or Nursing diploma is also required. Additionally, a valid Class 5 driver's license and relevant licenses are necessary.
Desirable Qualifications
A degree in Health or Social Sciences, leadership training, and licensure with a regulatory body can be beneficial. Furthermore, proficiency in advanced leadership skills, financial skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, critical thinking skills, and analytical skills is essential.
Competencies
This role requires the ability to adapt to change, implement new ideas, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Knowledge of diverse cultures, safe workforce practices, the Saskatchewan healthcare system, quality improvement, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action, and LEAN management principles is also necessary.
Salary and Benefits
