About the Role

Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating Tajima embroidery machines to create high-quality embroidered designs on various materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate embroidery machines to produce precise and accurate designs
  • Set up machines with correct thread, needles, fabric, hoops, and design patterns
  • Monitor embroidery process and inspect finished products for quality
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Maintain records of designs, thread usage, and production output

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience operating Tajima or similar embroidery machines
  • At least 2 years of experience in hooping garments onto machines
  • Proficiency in setting up designs, changing threads, and addressing minor machine issues
  • Ability to ensure precision and accuracy in embroidered designs
  • Capability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position for the morning shift (7:50am to 4:30pm) and night shift (4:20pm to 1am) Monday to Friday.
