Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating Tajima embroidery machines to embroider designs on various materials, ensuring precision and quality. You will also be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring the embroidery process, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate Tajima embroidery machines to embroider designs on different materials, ensuring precision and quality.
  2. Set up machines with the correct thread, needles, fabric, hoops, and design patterns according to job requirements.
  3. Monitor the embroidery process, inspect finished products for quality, and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent and accurate designs.
  4. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the machines.
  5. Maintain records of designs, thread usage, production output, and any machine maintenance or issues encountered.

Requirements

  1. 3-5 years of experience operating Tajima or similar embroidery machines in a manufacturing or apparel industry.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in hooping a garment onto the machine.
  3. Proficiency in setting up designs, changing threads, and addressing minor machine issues.
  4. Ability to ensure precision and accuracy in the embroidered designs and detect flaws or irregularities.
  5. Capability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
  6. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
  7. English speaking is a must.
  8. Ability to work and collaborate within a team setting.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position for the morning shift (7:50am to 4:30pm) and night shift (4:20pm to 1am) Monday to Friday.
