Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician Student to join our dispensary team at Central Fill Pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with blister packing using a VBM machine, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with blister packing using a VBM machine
  • Maintain and count inventory
  • Receive, load, and unload deliveries
  • Answer customer inquiries by phone
  • Prepare, pre-pack, assemble, and label medicines
  • General cleaning and housekeeping
  • Refer problems or queries to the pharmacist
  • Additional duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Enrolled to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience with Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems, comfort level working with Kroll software is preferred
  • Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as collaborate within a team
