Pediatric Neurology Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our team at BC Children's and Women's Hospital. As an Associate Physician, you will work under the direction and supervision of an attending physician in Pediatric Neurology, providing high-quality patient care in a structured, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the Pediatric Neurology inpatient/consultation service, working closely with attending physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform new neurological consultations and admissions, documenting patient information and communicating with families and referring physicians.
- Manage the day-to-day care of patients, including writing medical orders and responding to emergencies in hospital.
- Collaborate with other departments to arrange consultations and investigations, and follow through on patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with families about health findings, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and follow-up care.
- Medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- Minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training in Pediatric Neurology, verified by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Successful completion of the Royal College Subspecialist Examination Affiliate Program in Pediatric Neurology.
- Must meet the CPSBC's English language proficiency requirements.
- Must be eligible for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician class.
