Senior Manager, IAM Systems Engineering

We are seeking a seasoned leader in authentication, information security, and DevOps/Cloud Engineering to join our Technology and Operations team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Senior Manager, IAM Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and owning large-scale enterprise software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement technical solutions for Enterprise secrets management services.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of a secrets management service implementation, from initial internal hand-off to installation, system configuration, and testing.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HashiCorp Vault, Privilege Access Management service architecture, tools, and products.
- Provide leadership and guidance on technical issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Handle escalations and manage partner and internal resources expectations.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies through automation and other techniques.
- Document detailed design and define technical solutions that take into account enterprise IAM architecture strategies, current state environment, and constraints.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and interface groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Strong technical developer experience in DevOps Automation Pipelines, leading projects end to end.
- Proficiency in implementing concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms.
- 3+ years of IAM experience with strong knowledge in development (installation, configuration, and coding) of HashiCorp Vault and/or CyberArk.
- Experience with implementing vendor products or solutions to large enterprise organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership experience to manage large projects or people management.
- Experience with infrastructure and application automation security implementation using SSO, SAML, IDM, OAUTH, HashiCorp, and/or CyberArk.
- Experience with architecture and implementation of automation solutions using Ansible, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Git, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools.
