What is the Opportunity?

As a Senior IAM Systems Engineer at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and support of Privileged Access Management (PAM) Services. The ideal candidate is passionate about authentication and security, with experience building large-scale enterprise software and direct experience in authentication, identity, PAM, security, and complex rule-based systems for authorization.

What Will You Do?

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of development and implementation within Privileged Access Management services and associated IAM policies and processes.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CyberArk solutions, architecture, tools, and products.
  • Provide guidance during implementation from a technical perspective on issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies by leveraging automation and other techniques.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • 4-7 years of IAM experience with strong knowledge in development (installation, configuration, and coding) of CyberArk PAS Solution and Application Credential Management.
  • Understanding of LDAP-based identity stores like Windows Active Directory.
  • Strong experience with shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Java, and C#.
  • Experience with databases, SQL, and virtualization tools like VMWare or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Extensive expertise deploying software as well as strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.
