Horizon Health Network is seeking a skilled Prevention Coordinator to join our team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellness in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate information sessions and community consultations to identify needs and solutions surrounding addiction and mental health.
- Design and evaluate community action programs to address addiction and mental health issues.
- Build partnerships with community groups and stakeholders to develop and implement regional suicide prevention frameworks.
- Manage the suicide prevention budget and explore opportunities to leverage resources and funding.
- University degree in social work, health sciences, or social sciences with 3-5 years of experience.
- College certificate or diploma with 7-10 years of experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced level of written and spoken English required; bilingualism considered an asset.
