RAMS Analyst Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled RAMS Analyst to join our team in Burnaby. As a key member of our Safety and Systems Assurance team, you will be responsible for implementing a RAMS program on large-scale projects in the public transport and rail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and propose methods, analyses, and reports for the successful execution of mandates within your field of expertise.
  • Provide high-quality consultancy services to the rail industry in the field of Systems Assurance, RAMS, and V&V.
  • Contribute to developing strategies to grow the Safety and Assurance service offering.
  • Develop reliability and safety assurance plans according to project requirements.
  • Carry out safety studies, including Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Establish and manage the Hazard Log for the project, including demonstration of hazard closure with proper evidence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in developing and documenting Safety and Assurance arguments across the complete asset/project lifecycle is considered an asset.
