RAMS / System Assurance, Analyst

AtkinsRéalis is a leading engineering firm dedicated to shaping a better future for our planet and its people. Our Safety and Systems Assurance team is seeking a RAMS Analyst to join our Burnaby office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a RAMS program on large-scale projects in the public transport and rail sectors. This will involve defining and proposing methods, analyses, and reports required for the successful execution of mandates within their field of expertise.

Your Role within the Team:

  • Provide high-quality consultancy services to the rail industry in the field of Systems Assurance, RAMS, and V&V.
  • Contribute to developing strategies to grow the Safety and Assurance service offering.
  • Develop reliability and safety assurance plans according to project requirements.
  • Carry out safety studies, including Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Establish and manage the Hazard Log for the project, including demonstration of hazard closure with proper evidence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in developing and documenting Safety and Assurance arguments across the complete asset/project lifecycle is considered an asset.
