Bartender, Mixologist

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, mixing drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities:- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
- Mix drinks and control beverage stock according to guidelines
- Take orders and deliver food and beverage items in a prompt manner
- Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and offerings
- Accurately maintain guest checks and utilize upsell opportunities
- Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Previous bartending experience, minimum 1 year, and previous food and beverage service experience in a similar setting
- Valid Alberta ProServe certification
- Mixology knowledge and skills preferred
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
- Excellent knowledge of all beverage products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proven organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
