Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring operational and financial compliance audits, providing regular updates to senior management, and ensuring the timely delivery of prepared by client requests to auditors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor all ongoing operational and financial compliance audits.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of all on-going audits.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of prepared by client requests to auditors, including the preparation and submission of working papers and schedules for year-end audits.
  • Gather supporting documentation for auditor-selected samples.
  • Assist with yearly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring supporting schedules match underlying account balances.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between external auditors and internal teams.
  • Handle ad hoc projects assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or close to completion.
  • 3+ years' experience in an audit firm.
  • Foundational knowledge and experience using Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  • Foundational knowledge of Canadian payroll.
  • Experience working on payroll audit engagements is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $95,000 per year, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development.
