Job Description

Job Title: Business Planning

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Planning professional to join our team at the District of Saanich. As a Business Planning professional, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our corporate plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve corporate goals and objectives;
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions;
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and challenges;
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support business initiatives;
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management and the Board of Directors on business matters;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business planning and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning and strategy;
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business plans and strategies;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business principles and practices.
