The Opportunity

Technology plays a crucial role in this endeavor, and we have set ambitious goals to elevate our technology services across various functional areas, including people & safety, enterprise asset management, customer experience, fleet & terminal operations, and more.

We are in search of a seasoned IT professional with a strategic mindset to become a vital member of our IT Strategy team. You will not only be an IT expert but also a strategic leader who guides the planning of IT transformation strategies and initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

In collaboration with executive leaders and operational stakeholders, you will develop technology-driven program roadmaps designed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, achieve optimal customer experience outcomes, maximize business value, and facilitate business growth. You will also work alongside technology leaders and vendors to explore strategic and innovative applications of technology that promote business growth and profitability.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, Office of the CIO, your contributions will encompass key areas such as:

  • Crafting IT strategies and initiatives that align with corporate objectives
  • Offering strategic IT insights for business decisions, utilizing a structured, data-driven approach while fostering consensus
  • Converting IT strategic goals into performance metrics and actionable plans
  • Establishing strategic partnerships across the organization with business sponsors and executive stakeholders to ensure high-value technology solutions
  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with internal and external partners to maintain business capability mapping that informs our IT Architectural Roadmap
  • Assessing the feasibility of technology projects and initiatives, leading the preparation of IT project proposals in line with corporate priorities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology transformation initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Contributing to IT strategic and solutions/program roadmaps, supporting various project delivery teams in designing solutions that meet user needs
  • Mentoring team members in their efforts to implement technology according to the roadmap
  • Conducting market and competitive research to identify broader business trends and assumptions that may influence the IT strategy

What You Bring to the Team

The ideal candidate is an empowering leader—calm, strategic, and tactical under pressure, with the ability to see the broader picture beyond daily challenges. You are a relationship-builder with a proven history of driving large-scale technological change initiatives.

You possess a Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Behavioral Economics, or a related field. You are a proven technology leader with a background in strategy, planning, and digital transformation, complemented by experience in strategy management and executive decision-making. You have demonstrated expertise in business strategy formulation, IT strategy development, business scenario creation, and innovation.

Additional Information

The target salary range: $121,800 to $152,200 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience, and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on an exceptional basis.
