CNIB Foundation seeks a seasoned professional for the role of SmartLife and Mobile Hub Coordinator in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily consumer transactions, and coordinating training workshops to promote accessible technologies. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with clients, staff, and community partners to foster inclusive communities and drive innovation.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Recruit, engage, and lead a diverse team of students, volunteers, and staff to deliver the CNIB SmartLife Centre experience and drive sales initiatives.
  • Evaluate and optimize our portfolio of products, services, and technologies offered through the Client Experience Centre.
  • Assist clients in navigating our e-commerce site and handling daily consumer transactions, including inquiries, scheduling consultations, and processing payments.
  • Triage and resolve issues related to defective products and provide inventory management support.
  • Develop and implement creative programmatic strategies to engage consumers with accessible technologies and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of experience in accessible technologies, program development, retail sales, and customer service provision.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, combined with relevant experience and transferable skills.
  • Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and vision loss, along with knowledge of assistive technologies.
  • Volunteer engagement and staff leadership experience, as well as proficiency in Salesforce and Shopify Point-of-Sale systems (an asset).
