About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Maintenance: Ensure that all resident rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with linens and amenities.
  • Common Area Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including hallways, lounges, and dining areas.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as manage linen supplies to ensure that all resident rooms have a sufficient stock.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to the appropriate staff members.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, responding to their requests and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and to stand for extended periods.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
