Instrumentation and Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Control Technician to join our Maintenance Department team in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent on-site position working shift and supporting a 24-hour operation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Safely install, test, debug, and troubleshoot various pieces of equipment, performing inspections as required.
- Preventative Maintenance: Safely perform Preventative Maintenance work to meet production schedules.
- Instrumentation and Control: Diagnose and repair instrumentation equipment problems and breakdowns to reduce impact on operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Report deviations to established procedures and provide required documentation of work performed.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations and or call-outs as required.
- Trade Certification: Possess an Instrumentation and Control Technician (447A) Red seal accreditation or a College Technician or Technology Diploma in Instrumentation.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of trade experience (apprenticeship included).
- Skills: Proven understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other applicable legislation.
