Job Opportunity: Vice Principal of Catholic Elementary Schools

The London District Catholic School Board is seeking a qualified Vice Principal to join our team of educators. As a Vice Principal, you will play a key role in supporting the Principal and teachers in providing a high-quality education to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Principal in leading the school community
  • Assist with the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional programs
Qualifications:
  • Ontario School Principal's Certificate
  • Part 1 completed or in progress as of the start date of an appointment & Part 2 completed, in progress or a commitment to take it, or at a minimum, have requirements met to commence PQP part 1 upon appointment.
  • Religious Education or Equivalent (Minimum Requirement). Specialist (preferred).
  • Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ (preferred).
  • A Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Completion of the Called to Lead Program or in progress (preferred).
Experience:
  • A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the elementary panel is required.
  • Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.
