Welding Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team at NAIT. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in our Welding Apprenticeship Program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver curriculum for welding courses, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
- Teach welding techniques and principles to students, including hands-on training and demonstrations.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, including written and verbal evaluations.
- Develop and maintain a safe and effective learning environment, including adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in welding technology.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as welding engineering or metallurgy.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, including teaching or training experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design principles.
