Millwright Specialist

As a Millwright Journeyman at Silver Hills Bakery, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's mission to inspire healthy lifestyles. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely and budget-friendly project installations.
- Provide guidance and supervision to contractors working on projects.
- Analyze blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install, align, disassemble, and move industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controls.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup of machinery.
- Inspect new equipment and parts to ensure compliance with Purchase Orders.
- Ensure contractor WCB approvals, plant safety program orientation, and confidentiality statements.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production team to provide SOPs and training materials.
- Enforce company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Promote and facilitate safe work practices and policies.
