Millwright Journeyman

Silver Hills is seeking a skilled Millwright Journeyman to join our team. As a Millwright, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project installations on time and budget under the direction of the project manager.
- Provide direction to and supervise contractors working on projects.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair.
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
- Inspect new equipment and parts to ensure compliance with Purchase Orders.
- Ensure contractor WCB approvals, plant safety program orientation, and confidentiality statements.
- Work with maintenance and production teams to ensure SOPs and training materials are provided at the time of sign-off on project work.
- Enforce company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Promote and facilitate safe work practices and policies.
