Job Description

As an Electrical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders efficiently.
  • Working closely with the quotes team to transition won jobs into orders seamlessly.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and the outside sales team to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
  • Contacting current customers to identify new products and potential up-selling opportunities.
  • Entering orders into the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Sourcing materials for customers when they are not in stock.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current products and staying up-to-date on new product releases.
  • Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes to meet customer needs.
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships through exceptional service and support.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
  • Supporting Counter Sales and handling returns as required.
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure customer needs are met.

  • A proven track record of building long-term relationships and generating referrals from satisfied customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Impeccable organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong networking skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to function effectively independently or as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
