Personal Insurance Consultant

Our client is experiencing significant growth in their Direct to Consumer Channel and is seeking an Insurance Advisor. This role involves underwriting and selling personal insurance directly to consumers across the nation, while also addressing all related insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing customer insurance requirements and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
- Providing quotes and facilitating the sale of Home and Auto insurance policies.
- Guiding new clients through their Home and Auto insurance options.
- Updating existing clients' policies to reflect their evolving needs and introducing new products as necessary.
- Enhancing customer retention by delivering exceptional service.
- Underwriting new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by gathering essential information for pricing and risk evaluation.
- Keeping abreast of underwriting and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a College Diploma or University Degree.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service (mandatory).
- OTL or RIBO licensing is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to align products with client needs.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Self-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient computer skills with a willingness to learn new software.
- Experience in insurance sales/service underwriting is an asset.
- Progress towards CIP or FCIP designation is a plus.
