Personal Insurance Consultant

Position Overview:
Our client is experiencing remarkable growth in their Direct to Consumer Channel and is seeking an Insurance Advisor. This role involves being a licensed underwriting professional who provides personal insurance solutions directly to consumers across the nation, addressing all their insurance-related requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing customer insurance requirements and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
- Providing quotes and facilitating the sale of Home and Auto insurance policies.
- Assisting new clients with their Home and Auto insurance inquiries.
- Updating existing customer policies to align with their evolving needs and introducing new products as necessary.
- Enhancing customer retention by ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Underwriting new business, policy modifications, and renewals by gathering essential information from clients for pricing and risk evaluation.
- Staying informed on underwriting practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a College Diploma or University Degree.
- Proven sales and customer service experience is essential.
- OTL or RIBO licensing is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric approach with the ability to align products with client needs.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient computer skills with a willingness to learn new software.
- Experience in insurance sales/service underwriting is advantageous.
- Progress towards CIP or FCIP designation is a plus.
