Job Title: Big Data Analyst

At OE Technical Solutions Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and troubleshoot applications software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Build predictive models to forecast business outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct business and technical studies to inform decisions on system implementation or migration.
  • Conduct research on data availability and suitability to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify requirements and develop solutions.
  • Coordinate the development, installation, and operation of computer-based systems.
  • Develop data mapping methods to optimize data flow and analysis.
  • Develop process and network models to optimize architecture and improve efficiency.
  • Extract information from unstructured data sets to gain insights and inform business decisions.
  • Highlight key data sources and methodologies for specific projects.
  • Prepare plans to maintain software and ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide advice on automated anomaly detection systems and data collection policies.
  • Research and document data requirements, collection policies, and access rules.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices and software products.
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access, data backup, and recovery.
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators to develop and implement data policies and models.
  • Resolve conflict situations and ensure effective communication among team members.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools.
