Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Food Services to join our team at Donair Affair. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service
    • Oversee the preparation and portioning of food to ensure high-quality standards are met.
    • Coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure efficient and effective food service.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management and Reporting
    • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Prepare and submit reports on inventory, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Identify and implement improvements to food preparation and service processes.
  • Team Management and Leadership
    • Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure effective team communication.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food services supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Client-focused and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

Donair Affair is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Supervisor, Food Services, you will be required to work in a team-oriented setting and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English. The work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
