About this Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Physician to join our Geriatrics in Motion team in Clayton Park, Halifax. This is a full-time position with a mix of primary care and long-term care responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients, taking medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, and advising patients on health care and disease prevention. They will also consult with other medical practitioners, act as patient advocates, and prescribe and administer medications and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests

Requirements:

  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
  • Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
  • Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association
