We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Higher Talent. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test fire alarm systems to identify any issues or defects
- Install new fire alarm systems and components, including sensors, control panels, and notification appliances
- Repair and replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools
- Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Calibrate products using hand tools
- Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
- Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Provide customer service
- Electronic Technician Trade Certification - consumer products
- Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification
- Valid driver's licence
- Attention to detail
