Retail Store Supervisor - Leadership and Operations
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Longlac Freshmart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign tasks and duties to sales workers to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to achieve exceptional performance
- Authorize payments, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
- Analyze sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues promptly and professionally
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to meet business objectives
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting commitments
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
- A permanent full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek
