About the Role

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for ensuring all arrears are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigation and Collection: Investigate delinquent accounts in assigned portfolio and collect/administer portfolio to minimize exposure to monetary losses or damage to investors and corporate image.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in budgeting and planning to correct existing and avoid future delinquency.
  • Fee Collection: Assess and collect fees related to arrears.
  • Bankruptcy and Consumer Proposals: Review bankruptcy and consumer proposals and file proof of claim when required.
  • Arrears Settlement: Set up arrears settlement payments and process new PAC information.
  • Credit Ratings and Mortgage Verifications: Provide credit ratings and mortgage verifications.
  • Deficiency Balances: Collect deficiency balances on discharged mortgages.
  • AML Compliance: Adhere to policies/procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, when applicable.

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve arrears.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Competency in MS Office and capacity to learn new technologies/systems.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism (French, English) required – interactions with English-speaking customers or partners.
