About the Role:
OFF THE HOOK SURF TURF SMOKERY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, as well as supervising activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and functions.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
