Head Caretaker

Bry-Co Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance and operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of maintenance staff and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure that facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Coordinate Work Activities: Work with other departments to ensure that work activities are coordinated and completed on time.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Site Environment: Ability to work in a dusty, outdoor environment.
- Work Setting: Willingness to relocate and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tasks: Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of workers, inspect sites or facilities, recommend additional services, assist cleaners, coordinate work activities, and establish work schedules.
- Supervision: Ability to supervise 1 to 2 people.
- Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
- Experience: Willingness to train.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
