WSP is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our Earth and Environment Applied Solutions (EEAS) team in a full-time capacity based in our Whitby office.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a diverse range of construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement effective construction strategies, taking into account site-specific conditions, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder needs.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with WSP's policies, procedures, and industry standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering complex construction projects.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
