Enterprise Data Architect

As a key member of our team at Rocket Innovation Studio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying data requirements, designing and maintaining blueprints, and ensuring seamless data integration. You will align data investments with our business strategy, creating efficient, sustainable, and agile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and evolve technology roadmaps defining company data architectures and supporting data strategies.
  • Ensure data solutions are performant, secure, and follow reusable patterns.
  • Develop and share best practices for data discovery, change management, and deployment.
  • Research, analyze, and promote data standards across the organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver roadmaps and enable data capabilities.
  • Design integrations with other data sources and architect data solutions.
  • Buy strategies for data technologies.
  • Monitor performance trends and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • ~7 years of experience in database administration, application development, data integration, modeling, and management.
  • ~7 years of experience with relational, big data, conceptual, and logical data modeling.
  • ~General experience with Python, PowerShell, SQL, or Bash.
  • ~7 years of experience with data quality management, reference data management, master data management, ODS/graph management, enrichment, and analytics, metadata management, integrations, and service standards, data lakes, or governance (architectural and technical).
  • ~5 years of experience building data solutions.
  • ~5 years of experience with intersystem communication strategies, including ESB and web services.
  • ~Master's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • ~Knowledge of and experience with Open Group Standards and Agile software development practices.
