Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Rocket Innovation Studio. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape. Your responsibilities will include identifying data requirements, designing and maintaining blueprints, and ensuring seamless data integration. You will align data investments with our business strategy, creating efficient, sustainable, and agile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmaps: Develop and evolve technology roadmaps that define our company data architectures and support our data strategies.
  • Performance And Security: Ensure data solutions are performant, secure, and follow reusable patterns.
  • Best Practices: Develop and share best practices for data discovery, change management, and deployment.
  • Data Standards: Research, analyze, and promote data standards across our organization.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver roadmaps and enable data capabilities.
  • Architectural Design: Design integrations with other data sources and architect data solutions.
  • Technology Evaluation: Identify build vs. buy strategies for data technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance trends and improve processes.
  • Mentoring And Guidance: Mentor team members and define internal guidelines.
  • Stay Current: Research and stay informed about new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in database administration, application development, data integration, modeling, and management.
  • 7 years of experience with relational, big data, conceptual, and logical data modeling.
  • 5 years of experience with system architecture and normalization considerations.
  • Experience with ArchiMate, TOGAF, SOA, or CMMI.
  • General experience with Python, PowerShell, SQL, or Bash.
