HM Royal Steel Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to join our team. As an Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar, you will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures with steel bars or metal mesh.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work at heights. You will be working outdoors in various locations, including fabrication sites and construction sites.

Responsibilities
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Reliability and dependability
