Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Rebar Reinforcement Specialist to join our team at HM Royal Steel Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures with steel bars and metal mesh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations.
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints.
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work at heights, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity, ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
