DSW: Store Leadership Position

Job Description
At Designer Brands, we're seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to lead our DSW store environment and foster inclusive customer connections. As a key member of our store team, you'll report to the Store Manager and be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize store business results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Facilitate achievement of business results by role modeling unique customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.
- Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who share a love of shoes.
- Achieve company objectives and enhance the DSW brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
- Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
Requirements:
- Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to motivate others.
- Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.
- Ability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
