About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, this role is responsible for the efficient operation of the CT scanners and ensuring high-quality imaging for our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and performing computed tomography examinations in a professional and efficient manner
  • Positioning patients to obtain high-quality images while following radiation protection guidelines
  • Operating equipment safely and practicing sterile techniques when required
  • Performing clerical duties related to the handling of patient information
  • Traveling to other sites as required

This is a long-assignment full-time position with a 75-hour biweekly schedule, approximately 13 months in duration. The successful candidate will be required to work call and shift hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $39.96 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
