Job Title: Digital Communications Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at Manitoba Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our brand and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market research data to inform business decisions and activities
  • Assist in product development and launch
  • Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for our products and services
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to engage with our target audience
  • Direct the development and maintenance of our website and social media presence
  • Direct the marketing strategies of our establishment
  • Direct the team on crucial information they should gather and research
  • Evaluate our Internet presence and communication strategies
  • Evaluate the marketing strategies used by our establishment
  • Implement communication strategies and programs
  • Oversee the preparation of written material for website content
  • Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes
  • Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations, and press releases
  • Develop promotional materials
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff
  • Manage contracts
  • Market our business services
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials
  • Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs
  • Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments, and other organizations
  • Act as spokesperson for our organization
  • Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
  • Answer written and oral inquiries
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions
  • Maintain and manage digital databases
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
