About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role, with a strong focus on supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Priorities: Ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met by prioritizing tasks and delegating work to office support staff.
  • Review and Evaluate Procedures: Assess new administrative procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Co-ordinate Office Services: Plan and oversee the provision of office services, including accommodation, equipment, supplies, and security services.
  • Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate payment of employees.
  • Supervise Staff: Directly supervise 5-10 people and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet their job expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various administrative tasks, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, establishing work priorities, co-ordinating office services, overseeing payroll administration, and supervising staff.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate, as well as relevant education and training in administration or a related field;
  • 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry;
  • Demonstrated Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and delegate work effectively;
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong Organizational Skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
