About This Role

Safe Software is looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, sharing your collective knowledge, and contributing to our FME Community Q&A Forums and Knowledge Base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Go above and beyond for our customers to help resolve their support cases
  2. Share your knowledge with FME users by contributing to our FME Community Q&A Forums and Knowledge Base
  3. Collaborate across teams to deliver effective product demos and proof-of-concepts
  4. Deliver webinars that highlight FME's amazing capabilities
  5. Help improve the FME Platform by collaborating with our Product Managers and our customers
  6. Test and explore new features of FME in beta stages
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with experience working with a broad range of data formats, including GIS, CAD, databases, raster, JSON, XML, and REST APIs/web/cloud services. Effective communication skills, empathy, and a customer-centric approach are also essential. Additionally, we prefer candidates with experience in ETL processes, data integration workflows, and programming languages such as Python and SQL.
