Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Adept Landscape & Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy work site.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Lay sod or seed to ensure a lush and healthy lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the work site.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal health and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
