Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Liquor Sales Associate to join our team. As a Liquor Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the liquor department, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Restock shelves, rotate stock, and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and other payment methods.
- Operate a cash register, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to promote products and enhance the shopping experience.
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including liquor products, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Have or be willing to obtain Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds occasionally, and 10-20 pounds constantly.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Experience in the liquor industry is an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates with enhanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
