Radiological Technologist, CT/General Procedures Specialist

Fraser Health is seeking an experienced Radiological Technologist, CT/General Procedures Specialist to join our team at Langley Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will perform special procedure examinations in CT and radiographic procedures, ensuring safe radiation protection practices and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT and radiographic procedures, adhering to departmental policies and guidelines
- Monitor patient safety during procedures, responding to potential issues and emergencies
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, including processing and archiving acquired data
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on procedures and best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography
- At least one year of recent experience in radiology procedures, including supervisory experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice related to designated modality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
